Generation Z children are drawn to technology – why not use this to your benefit and use it to teach your children? The aim of online education is not to match traditional classrooms but to improve it. Our content carefully balances video, animation and text. Although watching a video can be valuable, it is still a passive activity. For online learning to be successful, it needs to be engaging and interactive. At traditional schools, if a learner is bored or performs badly, he/she fails. In technology, if the user is bored or performs badly, the product designers have failed. Our aim is to offer the most technologically advanced solution to ensure your learner’s success.

Yes, alternative schooling is permitted in South Africa. Think Digital College is registered with SACAI (view certificate), the South African Comprehensive Assessment Institute, and follows the requirements for learners to obtain their National Senior Certificate. For our British International Curriculum learners, the content we provide equips each learner with the knowledge and skills required to successfully complete their GCSE, AS and A level external examinations.

Once you have located your nearest British International Curriculum accredited examination centre, you need to register your learner directly with them. There is a fee that needs to be paid per paper written, this fee may change according to the Rand/Pound exchange rate at the time. There are two examination sessions in a year; these are May/June and October/November. There are cut off dates for registering for the exams and you will be notified when registration opens.

Please remember that your learner has to complete the full 18-month course before writing these exams.

We have a list of educational support centres with contact information on our website. Our educational support centres make use of our online content and provide the learners with a social and interactive space where they can receive extra support. Please note that the educational support centres operate independently and charge their own fees which are not included in our prices. The educational support centres have no formal relationship with Think Digital College, we are solely content providers and do not have any input in how the centres are run.

We offer the CAPS curriculum in both English and Afrikaans.

Please navigate your way to the “Getting Started” tab. Once here, choose the option “enrol a new learner” and you will be taken to the first step of the enrolment process (please make use of google Chrome). We have two payment methods available, the first option allows you to pay a 25% deposit and the balance over 5 months – to make use of this option you will need a credit card or cheque card that is activated to make online payments. The second option allows you to pay via instant EFT – should you prefer to use this method you will need to pay the full amount upfront.

Please note that most places of work have firewalls in place which may affect your access to our registration page. It is therefore advised that registration is completed at home on your personal device.
